Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje 2022 – Swimwear Fashion Show

On the 14th and 15th of October 2022, the Tenerife Fashion Beach show in Costa Adeje took place.
The Ayuntamiento de Adeje, the Cabildo de Tenerife, and the Gobierno de Canarias have supported the event. This was the fifth edition.

The first day of the event took place in The Duke Shops shopping centre, where designers and new talent had the chance to show their trends for summer 2023.
The show has been presented by Wendy Fuentes.
The first designer was Farobag, a little brand where everything is produced in the Canary Islands, handmade and in an ethical way.
The bags collection has been inspired by the sea life, the swimwear is very versatile and can be worn for the beach, for the pool and for the night out.
The second designer was Evana with its mission to be sustainable without losing the softness of the fabrics.
The third new talent was Zalanda Cuero Style, a brand that has its focus on the sensuality of the woman, not on the fashion trends.
The fourth designer is NOK, a Canarian company that was born as a firm of high-quality fashion accessories, handcrafted by designers Alejandra Azero and Guillermo Meca. It specializes in creating exclusive pieces and small limited-edition collections.
The last one has been, By Loleiro, by Marisa Velázquez, a brand that produces hats and accessories. The new collection, called Essence of Summer, is a fusion between the West and the East, a journey with different fabrics.

Last Saturday, 15th October 2022 the event took place on the beautiful promenade of Playa del Duque North, an area of 2,500 square meters, a catwalk (25 meters long and 50 meters rectangular route), with a capacity for more than 700 people.
The night has been presented by Roberto Herrera and the model Nieves Alvarez.
There were ten brands to promote their fashion trends for the summer of 2023 and all of them have in common the sustainability of the planet with the slogan “plastic-free”.
The first runway has been presented by Ola Olita a collection dedicated to the woman with colourful bikinis, swimsuits and cover-ups.
The second brand was Noemi Felipe, who proposed a very versatile collection.
The third one was Seco Seco, a brand that focuses on protecting and respecting the environment and has presented a collection with a sea-life theme.
The next one was Arena Negra, a brand that presented a beautiful collection with ethnic references, the main colour was red, with a touch of green and brown.
The fifth brand Lava has presented a collection that links sportswear and beachwear.
Ananas Wear was the sixth brand to present its collection for summer 2023, it is part of Tenerife Moda, and this brand has won the prestigious award for the most commercial collection of Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje 2022.
The next one was Mas Que Puntas with its African-inspired collection, colours and animal stamps.
Serra, a brand from La Palma has presented its elegant and romantic swimwear collection.
The ninth one was the brand Suharz from Gran Canaria Moda Calida that has presented an explosion of colour and flowers with the watercolour technique, highlighting the colours electric blue, green and fuchsia. The collection called “La Primavera” has been inspired by the 60s trends.
Last but not least to close this edition has been the collection of Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, one of the most important figures in the fashion industry, known internationally. Her collection was full of joy and happiness for life.
