Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje 2023 – Swimwear Fashion Show
The VI edition of Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje (TFBCA) that took place on 1, 3-4 November 2023 has been a success.
The Cabildo de Tenerife, Recinto Ferial, the Ayuntamiento de Adeje, and Promotur del Gobierno de Canarias sponsored the event.
On the first day, anyone of at least 16 years old had the opportunity to attend a casting to enter the glamorous world of modelling in an event called FRESH FACE at the The Duke Shopping Centre. Almost 100 people attended the casting but only 10 had the opportunity to be on the catwalk of Tenerife Fashion Beach on Saturday, 4 November.
On 3rd November, at the amazing Bahia del Duque Hotel, has been held the TENERIFE FORUM, a round table where the influencers Alex Mercurio and Ceci Wallace talked about the important topics of diversity and inclusion in the fashion industry.
The supermodel and actress Ines Sastre has been interviewed by Jesus MarÃa Montes-Fernandez, a prestigious journalist, for the second part of the forum.
Ines Sastre talked about her early life as well as the hundreds of famous people she had the opportunity to meet during her films, modelling and TV shows including her participation in the Festival di San Remo in Italy and her advertising campaign for Lancôme.
Saturday, 4th November, in the amazing Playa del Duque North, almost 500 people attended the great catwalk presented by Roberto Herrera and the model Nieves Alvarez.
During the night, 11 designers that are part of the Tenerife Moda and other Islas Canarias, have proposed their swimwear collection for next summer.
The brands were Bea de la Rosa, Ananas Wear, By Loleiro by Aurelia Gil, Macaronesia, Waiola, Nossclo, Viperinas, Farowear and Arena Negra.
As usual, the most commercial collection has been awarded a trophy and this year the award has been won by Arena Negra who have also won 1000 Euro to invest in their business to grow. Arena Negra proposed a swimwear collection of ethnic elegance with animal prints and tribal themes.
The special guest of the night was, Lola Casademunt, who celebrated its 40th anniversary in the fashion world and presented her first swimmer collection for both men and women.
